I will be teaching an Encaustic Workshop Series at Eyelounge during my exhibition:

Wednesday December 1, 2010 12-4pm
Introduction to Encaustic
This workshop will introduce you to the world of Encaustics. You will learn how to set up your studio, create encaustic medium, discuss safety concerns, importance of fusing,substrates and basic technique. $100 + $25 supply fee

Saturday December 4, 2010 12-4pm
Beginner Encaustics
This class will help to develop your technique and begins to explore the variety of ways to work with this medium. We will explore utilizing different materials in the wax, and learn techniques such as inlaying and incising. $100 + $25 supply fee
