In my work, I explore the connection between human emotion and our environment. We have a deep personal connection with the places where we visit and live, as well as, the experiences that may have endured there.

I am busy working on my next show that will be October 19th- November 11th at Eye Lounge, and I will be showing along with photographer Logan Bellew. I am planning to show around 10 new Encaustic Landscapes that are based on recent Wildfires in Arizona.
There are some exciting opportunities that I am also beginning to work on for this fall. I have been asked by fellow Eye lounge artist David Bradley to host a presentation for the Arizona Artist Guild in November. I will be discussing the historical evolution of Encaustics, and I will be giving a critique for a few of the members. I will host a 2 day Encaustic workshop for them in January, as well.
I was also asked to participate in a exhibit called "Downtown in Old Town" that will be at the Scottsdale Exhibition Gallery on Main Street in Scottsdale, September 13th- October 25th 2012. This exhibit will feature and introduce working Phoenix artists to the Scottsdale Gallery circuit.
Then of course there will be the Annual Chaos Theory Show at Legend City the first Friday in October. This is always a great show to look forward to!
I am hunkering down for the summer, taking head from the heat in the studio. I am happy to be working during the summer in my first ever studio that has air conditioning! See you this fall...
